Join me for a unique physical exercise program designed specifically to stimulate your brain function.
While your body works on improving balance, coordination, aerobic capacity, and muscle strength, your brain will be working on an ever-changing series of entertaining and challenging mental tasks, all timed to the rhythm of lively and energetic music. Classes are designed for all ability levels and may be done seated or standing.
ABOUT JILL: A guest speaker at both the Reversing Alzheimer’s Summit 0.4 and the Alzheimer’s 2024 World Summit, Jill Simpson has used her 4000+ live and virtual classes to experiment with the most effective combinations of exercise, music, and mental stimulation to maximize cognitive function in the aging brain.
MONDAYS - MODERATE LEVEL for those less mobile
This class may be done seated or standing and is ideal for those with mobility or balance issues.
Starts Nov 11, 2024, at Trinity Village, Kitchener 2711 Kingsway Drive, Kitchener
TUESDAYS - ACTIVE LEVEL - for those feeling fully mobile
More vigorous and physically challenging, this class is done standing and has a greater cardiovascular component.
Starts November 12, 2024, at Waterloo North Mennonite Church 100 Benjamin Road, Waterloo
In collaboration with Waterloo Brain Connections, Fitness for Your Aging Brain will launch two new 10-week series of live in-person classes. Our new 90-minute format consists of a 60-minute body/brain challenge followed by a 30-minute Healthy Brain Tip discussion and social time.
COST $80 for the 10-week series of 90-minute classes.
Note: We will take 2 weeks off over Christmas, but you will have a bonus video to keep your brain active and fit during that time.
