This mare 💖 One of the sweetest bundles of 17hh you’ve ever met. She is another lovely regular client who has (*clearly*) been enjoying monthly magna-care pemf therapy sessions for nearly two years.

When I arrived for her session yesterday, her Mom mentioned that she has been bracing through the contact recently, specifically on the right rein. Dental work is all UTD, and this mare is meticulously managed otherwise. So we opted to spot treat her jaw region to take a peek to see if releasing some possible tension/tightness could help. Our efforts were validated when a visible pulse cascaded down her entire face to her muzzle as we spot treated in the pictured area. And the best part? The picture perfect relief and relaxation seen here, followed by a wonderful ride afterwards with no right rein bracing ✔️

What every PEMF therapy practitioner wants to hear after a horse’s first session 🤩

A lovely two-part sequence of some dramatic improvement on a young show horse who had some general lower back and hind end stiffness, noted by his owner while riding. Her feedback on areas of limitation included reluctance to bend through his body on one reign, delayed response to picking up the canter on one lead, and some visual dipping upon palpation in certain areas. Of course she has been consulting with her vet as well, but wanted to include PEMF therapy in his wellness plan after hearing about the success that Magna-Care has had with a fellow barn mate.

Another wonderful example of how collaborative care can be so supportive. And another example of a happy client ❤️ Looking forward to working with this gelding again!

When the session is “hanging in the crossties, yawning, and lip licking” good 👌🏻 The most expressive session on this mare today!

When conducting a full-body session, I am usually keeping an eye out for the most reactive area on their body to circle back to with my spot treatment attachment. It was all about the mid-back today for this lady, and her releases did not disappoint. She has been part of the Magna-Care family for four years, and the enjoyment shows!

Mascot Ryker checking in here to share his personal PEMF therapy story 👋

Ryker is having a cardiology wellness day, as he is sporting his holter monitor vest to check up on his heart condition, Subaortic Stenosis. He loves seeing his friends at OVC every six months… always so much love and treats to go around!

Subaortic Stenosis is a congenital heart condition which involves a narrowing below the aortic valve, obstructing blood flow from the heart. Luckily, Ryker’s case is mild, but he does experience arrhythmias occasionally, so OVC is always monitoring to ensure there’s no cause for greater concern… we always appreciate their thoroughness!

How does PEMF therapy support Ryker on an on-going basis? Improved oxygenation and circulation 🩸 With the narrowing below the aortic valve, blood flow can be reduced. A wonderful client of mine is hosting a super fun Cowboy Games event at their farm in Rockwood (home of the Rockwood Trail Riders shows) in memory of her Dad, and Magna-Care will be there for the entire day offering free demos to horses and riders!
