According to government statistics, In 2020, approximately 69% of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) were majority-owned by men, while 17% were majority-owned by women, and 14% had equal ownership between men and women in Canada.

We’ve come a long way… but there is still work to be done to achieve equality.

Here’s to all the women, mothers, and female small business owners that hustle and slay daily! You are inspirational to the younger generation and all of our daughters. We have the power to teach gender equality and empower young females to reach for the stars and their dreams. May each one of you continue to push boundaries and break from patriarchal tradition. Women are amazing creatures and deserve equal opportunities 👑
