High fiber foods include: - beans, legumes [lentils, chickpeas], complex grains [quinoa, brown rice, buckwheat], sweet potatoes & other potatoes, nuts, seeds, leafy green vegetables [spinach, swiss chard, collards, kale]
Other fibres include psyllium husk which has 4 grams of fiber per teaspoon!
An ounce of chia seeds has 11 grams of fiber.
Tip: when you're looking at the nutrition label on your foods, always check to see how much fiber you're getting! Things like cereal and bran do contain some fiber.
