Residents at Venvi Churchill Place in Oakville were treated to a tasty presentation from a local student entrepreneur. Charlotte, a 15-year-old with a passion for baking, started her business, Grain & Loaf Co, to showcase that healthy can also mean delicious. Specializing in whole grain, good for you baked items, Charlotte is dedicated to bringing fresh, locally sourced, and handcrafted goods to customers.

Joined by her mother and grandmother, Charlotte brought her baked scones, muffins, and challah bread to share with residents, who were inspired by her energy and passion. She shared her story, recounting how she had taught herself to bake through trial and error, experimenting with healthier ingredients to make her treats more nutritious without sacrificing taste.

By the end of the presentation, Charlotte not only shared her delicious baked goods but also forged connections bridging generations through the joy of baking.

We had sunshine, shiny rides, smoky BBQ, live performance & smiles. From vintage vibes to finger-lickin' good food, it was the kind of day that makes your heart (and your stomach) happy. Live music kept the mood high, and the cars weren’t the only things turning heads! 😄 Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun, feel good day we’re still smiling (and still full). ❤️🎶

The Bentley Regina recently celebrated their grand re-opening after months of renovations. Residents were joined by Regina’s Mayor, Chad Bachynski, and other members of the community who were able to enjoy the inviting new spaces. The residence features an ode to The Capitol Theatre and an all-new pub called The Honking Goose Tavern. Guests had the opportunity to sample the Pension Plan Pilsner, a collaboration with The Bentley Regina and Pile O Bones Brewery located in Regina - a true Saskatchewan beer. Here are some more beautiful moments from our Philippines Independence Day celebration! It was a joyful day filled with amazing people, delicious food, and vibrant culture. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Filipino staff for sharing your traditions with us. Special thanks to Marisol for the wonderful Filipino dishes, Rosie for the best cassava cake we’ve ever had, Novelien for the amazing mango float cake, Angie for the delicious spring rolls, Norma for showcasing the stunning national attire, and Arron for the beautiful parol (star lantern). And to all the staff who helped bring it all together, thank you for making it so special!

Residents can then put their newfound knowledge into practice by creating beautiful gardening projects to bring life and color to each of our properties.

Retirement living is about community and connection. A new resident at Venvi Windsor Park retirement residence felt overwhelmed on her first day, until a group of compassionate residents embraced her warmly. Over lunch, they shared stories and realized they all hailed from the same Italian town. What began as a simple gesture blossomed into an hour of laughter, camaraderie, and encouragement.
