✨ Skin Science 101! ✨

Ever heard of post-inflammatory erythema (PIE) and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)? 🤔 Although they may look similar, they’re quite different!

🩸 PIE appears as red or pink spots left after acne or injuries. That are cause by dilated or damage blood vessels in the dermis.

✨PIH shows up as brown or dark spots, that occur when melanin production goes into overdrive in the epidermis.

One requires support from calming ingredients to addressing any lingering redness. Whereas, the other requires melanin inhibiting products to regular excess melanin in the skin.
