Thank you! Thank you to everyone who attended the Luncheon/Bake Sale/Bazaar on November 8 and supported your Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary. Thank you for all the donations of goodies, both for the luncheon itself and for the sale upstairs. And thank you to all our volunteers who made the day possible. We raised over $4,500, which is the most we've ever achieved! All funds to your Hospital Auxiliary go towards patient care at the Mindemoya Hospital, including tv for patients and equipment purchases. Great job, community! Let's look forward to our May function.

Thank you to all the participants of this year's Blizzard Open Golf Tournament, and especially to the organizers, Steve Shaffer and Karen Cranston. They raised $5,500 which they donated to your Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary, which will be used towards buying ventilators for the Mindemoya Hospital.

Congratulations to the Manitoulin Health Centre in achieving their goal of $350,000 for infusion pumps through their "Smart Infusion, Smarter Care" campaign. This goal was met through donations from community members and groups, including your Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary. In fact, we were able to take the campaign over the top with the generous donation of $13,000 from the Tour de Meldrum fundraiser, led by Dale Scott. Our entire Island community benefits from the new equipment.

We're excited to see what the next fundraiser is for our valuable hospitals!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Luncheon, Bake Sale and Bazaar last Saturday. It was a great success (again!) and we raised lots of funds for the Mindemoya Hospital with your help.
Thank you also to all our volunteers who helped with set up on Friday, and working the tables and the luncheon on Saturday. We couldn't do it without you!

It's almost here! This coming Saturday, May 10, please join us as we raise proceeds to enhance patient care at the Mindemoya Hospital.
Homemade soup, sandwiches and desserts downstairs from 11:30 to 1. Bake sale, penny table, books, crafts and lots more goodies upstairs from 11 to 2. See you there!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Luncheon/Sale on Saturday, November 9 at the Mindemoya Community Centre. We had one of our most successful events in recent years! Lots of funds were raised to send to the Mindemoya Hospital to pay for such things as the cable and headphones for patients to watch tv, an infusion chair to make receiving medicine more comfortable, and other essential equipment to help patients.
Thank you to Auxiliary Members and community members who donated food for the lunch and items for sale upstairs (the bake table was popular!).
A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped with set up, selling, serving lunch and take down. We couldn't do the day without you!

Tomorrow's the day! The volunteers were busy today setting up the Community Hall in Mindemoya. Thank you to everyone who dropped off items for the sale. (You can still do so Saturday morning from 9 to 11).
Hope to see you there! Don't forget the homemade soup is back for the lunch, along with sandwiches and homemade desserts.

Save the date! Our next Bazaar, Bake Sale and Luncheon will be on Saturday, November 9. Bake sale and bazaar from 11 to 2, and luncheon from 11:30 to 1 at the Mindemoya Community Hall.
Brenda's potato soup will be back! We will also have a yummy chicken and rice soup, as well as the usual delicious sandwiches, veggie tray and homemade desserts. Adults $15, children 6-12 $10 and under 5 are free.
All proceeds go towards assisting the patients of the Mindemoya Hospital. Just this year, your auxiliary was able to provide funds to help buy a dishwasher, a walk-in fridge/freezer and an infusion chair, all equipment required to make the hospital run efficiently.
