Here are some more fun facts about your Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary from our archives:
The new hospital was opened on May 10, 1970 (please accept our apologies: previous post was incorrect about the "old" hospital). That year, the Auxiliary purchased a folding table and chairs as well as stretchy sleepers for the children's ward. In 1971, a crash cart was approved for purchase which included a defibrillator and monitor, at a cost of $3,534. Over the next two years, over $1,800 came from the Auxiliary towards this cart ($1,000 came from the Christmas Seals campaign in 1973).
If you would like to donate to the Auxiliary so we can continue helping the hospital purchase equipment, please visit https://m.charitableimpact.com/rvBC or send a cheque to Box 284, Mindemoya, ON P0P 1S0. Thank you very much for your support!
