Inspired by Jon Haidt (The Anxious Generation, NYTimes bestseller) whose dedication to decreasing "screen time" and cellphone fixation in children and teens-- this is why we teach what we teach through expressive arts therapy. It's about re-awakening the senses in restorative ways and we have a responsibility to "re-embody" through expressive practices. This inspiration is at the core of the Bilateral Movement Desensitization Resensitization live webinar series beginning next week and of course, the Expressive Arts Therapy and Neuro-Affirming Practices webinar series also starting next week. See the comments section for the links to find out more.

We’re proud to introduce Kim Moffat, a dedicated counsellor with the Manitoba Farmer Wellness Program. As someone who grew up on a farm and farmed for several years with her partner, Kim understands the unique pressures of farm life. She provides compassionate support to help farmers navigate stress, relationships, and the demands of the industry.

💬 "My hope is that farmers will recognize the early signs of stress and put strategies in place to deal with the situation and their mental health. A farmer’s health is the most valuable asset on the farm—without the farmer, there is no farm!" – Kim Moffat

✨ Boredom isn't something to fear—it's the fertile soil where imagination, creativity, and wonder grow. 🌱 By allowing our children moments of stillness and open-ended time, we help them discover the beauty of creating their own joy. Embrace boredom, and watch their creativity bloom. 🌸🌳
