🌟Introducing: A Night of Remembrance – Memorial Walk & Fundraiser💜
Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025
Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Middle Island Park, 2345 Water St., Miramichi, NB

We’re honoured to introduce A Night of Remembrance, a powerful new community fundraiser in support of Percy’s Place Hospice.

This special evening invites you to walk in memory of someone you love. Whether you’re remembering a family member, friend, or someone who touched your life, this event is an opportunity to honour their memory in a meaningful and compassionate way.

You can participate individually or as part of a team, and you’ll have the option to raise funds through pledges collected in your loved one’s name. All proceeds will support the care and comfort provided by Percy’s Place Hospice to patients and families in our region.

💜 Each fundraising participant will receive:
A memorial bib with your loved one’s name
A luminary bag to be displayed during the event
A special keepsake to take home

The evening will also include live music, a donation BBQ, and a peaceful atmosphere for remembrance and connection.

Day 4 Winner Announced! 🎉

A Very Special Gift from the Heart of the Kitchen
So many of the most comforting moments at Percy’s Place begin in our kitchen — the smell of homemade cookies wafting down the hall, a surprise loaf of fresh banana bread for visitors, or a warm muffin placed gently beside a morning cup of tea.

These are more than just treats. They’re small acts of love, made with care in the heart of our home.

Recently, our trusty KitchenAid mixer — a staple in creating all those baked comforts — stopped working. But thanks to the incredible kindness of Joan Baldwin, a brand new replacement KitchenAid mixer has arrived at Percy’s Place!

This thoughtful donation ensures that we can continue making all the delicious baked goods that bring a little extra joy to our patients, families, and volunteers.

Thank you, Joan, for helping us keep the spirit (and scent!) of home alive in every corner of Percy’s Place. 💛
