We normally gather each week for Grief Café; but next week, we’re doing something a little different.

For one week only, Grief Café will be replaced with a special guided workshop focused on helping you work with your body through stress, grief, and overwhelm.

PLEASE NOTE the time change for this session!

Led by Somatic Coach & RMT Luciano Onichino, this workshop will introduce simple, practical ways to help your body settle, reset, and find balance again.

If you’ve been carrying a lot lately, this is a chance to learn tools you can actually use.

The Women of Miramichi Empowerment Network, in partnership with Percy’s Place, invite you to a Garden of Gratitude Tea Party — a simple, thoughtful afternoon built around connection and good company.

May 3rd | 1:00–3:00 PM
Percy’s Place – Grand Hall

It’s a chance to slow down, sit with others, and enjoy a quiet afternoon in a beautiful space.
Tea will be poured, conversations will unfold, and for a couple of hours, things can feel a little lighter.

Today carries a quiet reminder that even after the longest winters, light finds its way back. That renewal isn’t always loud or dramatic, sometimes it arrives gently, in small moments of peace, in connection, in the warmth we offer one another.

At Percy’s Place, we see that light every day. In the way people show up for each other. In the kindness shared between families, staff, and volunteers. In the strength that lives inside even the hardest moments.

A small act that carries a lot of meaning.🐣🌸🐰
Michelle Tobin-Forgrave spent time creating handmade Easter cards and personally delivering them to patients, staff, and volunteers at Percy’s Place.

Each one, made by hand. Thoughtful. Intentional.
For someone in this stage of life, something as simple as a card can shift a moment, a mood, a day.

Judy Losier joined Michelle during her delivery, sharing in these small moments of kindness throughout the space.

Support like this directly impacts the care we’re able to provide to patients and families when they need it most. It helps keep our doors open, our spaces welcoming, and our care focused where it belongs.
