****Administrative Assistant Position****

Peak Performance Health Centre is currently seeking a client focused individual to fill the position as an Administrative Assistant.

Position is a week on a week off. Monday-Wednesday 9-6 Thursday 9-5 and Friday 9-2.

Cover Letter and Reference are required.

Dress Code: Business Casual or Scrubs.

*Please note, Persons receiving a call back after interviews will be given a 3-day trial run before a decision is made.

Main activities:
• Greeting patients, assisting them in completing paperwork as needed, and facilitating smooth transition into treatment areas
• Answer all incoming telephone calls and e-mail and take message as needed
• Booking appointments
• Help manage the daily patient roster
• Receiving payment from clients and insurers
• File and update contact information of patients, suppliers and external partners
• Billing to third party payers
• Laundry
• Ensure the reception and clinic areas are kept tidy and sanitized at all times

Required Skills:
• Professional and personal demeanor
• Strong communication skills and ability to help patients and providers such as Chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapist and speech pathologist
• Advanced verbal and written communication
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to be completed
• knowledge and use of Google chrome, Gmail, Fax and Voicemail
Assets
• bilingual but not required
• customer service experience
• experience in an office setting


Training will be provided prior to beginning the position.
Required education:
• High school or equivalent
• Diploma in Business Administration or Medical Administration
