I’m so excited to have the opportunity for you to come to my house for in-person oily “sip and sniff” chats again, starting this week!!

I’ll be hosting small group chats at least every second Thursday evening at 7:30 for the next little bit. I’ll have herbal teas and homemade treats (I’m able to cater to most food sensitivities), and loads of Young Living oils and stuff for you to explore with your hands and nose. 😉

Here’s my proposed ideas for chats so far:

A basic intro to what essential oils are, their benefits, how to use them, etc.

💧 May 12—Natural Cleaning with Thieves
A chat about why it’s a good idea to eliminate toxins from our household cleaning routine and some great options wIth YL’s Thieves line.

💧 May 26—Oils for Emotions
Let’s chat about mindset, stress management, and how essential oils can help reset and support our emotions.

💧 June 9—Essential Oils 101

You supply the house and people, I’ll bring the oils and related paraphernalia, and snacks. We can also make some DIYS, if you’d like. (Some ideas might be a Spa Day/Night focused on making natural DIY body care products, or a Natural Cleaning DIY to make Thieves-based cleaning spray and scrub.) Hostess gets a “thank you” gift, of course. 😉

How many of you have tried using German chamomile essential oil?

I add it to many of my skin care blends, especially for itchy skin, such as for bug bites, eczema, dermatitis, etc. I find it helpful as a gentle wound healer.

Here I’m mixing it up with Geranium and Lavender in my salve base for a client to treat stasis dermatitis. It will solidify when it cools to a lovely pale blue colour. I thought it was fun how each drop sank slowly to the bottom in an inky pool! (See video below.)

A client asked me to make a blend to help address her stasis dermatitis that wasn’t responding to traditional pharmaceuticals. I’m pleased with the positive results after her consistent use for about 3 weeks!

Such a beautiful Spring day! I opened up windows after work to freshen things up a bit. I usually reach for citrus oils to clear the air but decided to try this blend instead. I’m glad I did! It’s a fun change!

Essential oils are a much healthier, plant-based option vs. air fresheners and candles that are full of toxic synthetic ingredients.
