Herbs to assist you through the cold and flu season ahead! 🌿✨🌿
These herbs have been used time and time again to help you through the cold winter months. Whether it’s in teas, added to cooked items, or made into tinctures, oxymels and infusions. I personally love using them in teas and cooking as you see throughout my page here. Let this graphic be a jumping point for you to do further research on each herb and if it’s the right fit for you.

🌿Echinacea- may reduce cold duration, boost immunity, and reduce symptom severity.
🌿Lemon Balm: may help with cold and flu symptoms due to its antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. It can be used to reduce fever by inducing sweating, and topical application of a lemon balm extract may help heal cold sores faster.
🌿Thyme: may help with cold and flu symptoms because it has antiseptic, expectorant, and antiviral properties, thanks to compounds like thymol and carvacrol.
🌿Oregano: The compounds carvacrol and thymol in oregano oil have shown promise in lab studies for fighting viruses and bacteria that can cause respiratory infections.
