Newborns and parents go through a lot of unnecessary trauma during a hospital stay. Modern medicine may have advanced technologies and equipment but the care that patients truly need is nowhere to be found. Most health care staff do only what they were taught to do and their intentions are generally good, but we need a paradigm shift in medicine. A return to natural health and nurturing care is a must, but... money talks, unfortunately.

Learn the risks, prepare your mind and body before procreating. If you are already pregnant, it's not too late to optimize your nutrition, take care of your body and mind and adjust your birth plan as your gut tells you. You will be glad you did.
