When I started to talk about high functioning depression (HFD) years ago, many people said that it was not real! But I knew that they were wrong because I kept seeing people in my practice who were suffering in silence.😢
 
I’ve overcome my own struggles with HFD. After 2020 I too felt empty.  I had a hard time enjoying things. I felt restless when I wasn’t busy. Yet no one knew because I wore a mask of productivity.  So many people depended on me. I was the strong one.👩🏾‍⚕️
 
I took a leap of faith to conduct the first-of-its-kind study in high functioning depression in my research lab.🔬
 
We interviewed hundreds of patients in this groundbreaking clinical study. And now I have written a book with evidence-based answers to empower you to expose and defeat this hidden depression.📚

Say hi to new addition to the family Neyo. ❤️Never fails to put a smile on my in-person clients faces. 😀 Even the ones who aren’t self identified ‘dog people’ . 🐶 Animals can provide comfort, joy, companionship and purpose. A lot of work but also worth it. And after raising 3 children I’m a pro. My daughter is really his mummy but I’m not ready to be a grandma just yet 😄

2024!! We have arrived. Each year brings new challenges for us all. 2023 was particularly challenging for me too. I say WAS and declare the downs, those parts that didn’t feel so good as behind me. As I help others to heal, grow and transform I also learn, grow and am fulfilled. I’m so grateful for all who trust me, the process and themselves. My clients choose me with the most important task, to help their lives feel and be better. In 2024, I will continue to deliver my best and provide needed services to individuals, couples and organizations who choose me too. Let’s do this!
