✨ What an incredible week at the Serious Play Conference at the .

Some highlights included:
🎮 Visiting the Strong Museum of Play, where I got to climb skyscrapers like Spider-Man and put my professional play skills into action.
🎤 Listening to inspiring and thought-provoking talks
📖 Getting my Witcher book signed by the amazing Rachel Kowert.
🧠 Sharing my own talk on and how psychology and technology can come together to improve safety in online gaming spaces.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who joined my session, shared feedback, and opened doors for new collaborations.

I attended the XP Game Summit—organized by XP Gaming Inc. -held June 12–13 at the Hyatt Regency Toronto. Huge kudos to the organizers for gathering exceptional talent and expertise from across the industry. Lapine, once again, thank you for this opportunity!

I had the honor of speaking on a topic close to my heart: combating toxicity in online spaces—a critical issue that threatens the creativity and well‑being of players and creators. Thank you Simon for great pictures!

During the summit, I also connected with remarkable people, including Lucie Lalumière from Interactive Ontario, caught up with some friends and met new ones. Lovely to see Celia Hodent , Rajesh Persaud (MEd in progress), Dylan Boyd. Esteban , Carl-Edwin Michel - thanks for listening to my presentation! 🤗

I had a great time playing the games and was blown away by the creativity and talent of the developers.

They spend countless hours building experiences that bring people together to connect, collaborate, and compete—yet toxic environments can quickly drive players away. That’s why now more than ever, we must help protect their creations and support the communities they’ve worked so hard to build.

I walked away with inspiring conversations and renewed purpose. To everyone I met who shares this mission: thank you. Let’s continue championing safe, respectful, and vibrant gaming spaces—together. 🎮✨
