Nurses & Personal Support Workers (PSWs) – North Bay, Ontario.
Neo-Wecare is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Nurses and Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for permanent positions in North Bay, Ontario.
We are looking for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, client-centered care while supporting individuals to live safely and independently in their homes.
Position Summary:
Our Nurses and PSWs provide direct client care and essential support services in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role focuses on meeting clients’ physical, emotional, and social needs while promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being within a home care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
For Nurses:
Conduct comprehensive client assessments to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications and monitor client health status.
Maintain accurate documentation and care records.
Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Provide education and support to clients and their families.
For Personal Support Workers (PSWs):
Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
Support mobility, transfers, and positioning.
Assist with meal preparation based on dietary needs.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Observe and report changes in client condition or home environment.
General Responsibilities:
Promote client dignity, independence, privacy, and cultural sensitivity at all times.
Follow safety, infection control, and sanitation standards.
Utilize electronic systems for documentation and communication.
Report incidents, concerns, and changes in client status promptly.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid Nursing qualification (RN/RPN) or PSW certification from a recognized program.
Relevant experience in home care or healthcare settings is an asset.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, electronic records).
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical care.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset.
