As the 12th Rabi gets closer - do something which will imitate his way and will benefit the community. Put down the keyboard, calm down the ego, and stop the endless debating.
Rasulallah ﷺ loved children. Visit the hospitals and give out gifts to the ill children in the wards so they feel his love. Rasūlullāh ﷺ loved the poor and the destitute. Go out and search for those in need in our community and provide them with essentials so they know he cares. Rasulallah ﷺ constantly thought about widows and single women. Visit them, assist them, and let them know that he is with them. Rasulallah ﷺ was concerned about new Muslims. Phone them, link them, go for meals, bring them home, they are your family so let them know that he appreciates them. Rasulallah ﷺ cared about our homes. Treat your spouses, parents and kids to something nice and show them your trying your best to follow him.
Rasulallah ﷺ cared about those who suffer with disability. Spend some time with them, smile with them, converse with them, and show them how much you care. The Prophet wept for sinners and was eager for their guidance regardless of who they were and what they did in the past. Make supplications, drop a tear, and ask Allah to bless your brothers and sisters at least once a day with hope they come back to him ﷺ. This is the essence of the Mawlid.
