Calcium gets all the spotlight, but it was never meant to dance alone.

Our bodies thrive on harmony, on magnesium, boron, zinc, silica, and the quiet mineral partners that guide calcium where it truly belongs.

When that balance is missing, even the best intentions can go a little rogue, and our joints and arteries feel that plot twist.

Minerals are the spark behind every heartbeat, every steady step, every deep breath of energy.

They are the foundation that lets vitamins do their sacred work. When we restore mineral balance, the body remembers how to rebuild, repair, and rise.

If your focus has only been on calcium, this might be the missing piece you did not know you were searching for.

Read the full story here, and let your body thank you for the deeper support.

This story stayed with me 🤍

She’s 78, and for years, stairs were uncomfortable. Movement required more thought, more caution. Not dramatic pain, just a steady reminder from her body.

Over time, she found support that worked well for her. ART-A with Devil’s Claw, alongside Lecithin. Nothing rushed. Nothing forced. Just consistency, and paying attention.

She still notices her knees. But they no longer decide her day.

She walks. She practices yoga. She moves through her life with more ease 🌿

What I appreciate most about her story isn’t her age or the products she uses. It’s that she listened early enough to respond with care.

Our bodies speak long before they shout. A feeling that something isn’t quite right is not something to push through. It’s information.

Support isn’t about waiting until things are unbearable.
It’s about awareness 🤍

Cravings are not a lack of willpower, they are messages from the body asking for balance 🌿
When we understand why a craving is showing up, we gain the power to gently guide the body back into steadiness, nourishment, and ease.

As Yuval Noah Harari beautifully said, pleasure alone does not bring satisfaction, it often creates more craving. True balance comes from listening to what the body is asking for and responding with care, not force.

This is exactly why I created the Kick the Cravings Guidebook. It helps you understand the hidden triggers behind cravings, what they reveal about your inner chemistry, and how to begin restoring balance in a way that feels supportive and sustainable ✨

For a limited time, it is available as a complimentary digital copy.

Inflammation and weight are deeply connected, though this connection is often misunderstood.

When weight feels stubborn, even when you are doing your best, it is not a personal failure. The body is not working against you. It is doing what it knows how to do best. Protecting you.

One of the ways the body protects itself is through inflammation.

Chronic inflammation sends a clear message to the body,
“I do not feel safe enough to let go right now.”

In response, insulin and cortisol naturally rise. These are protective hormones. When they stay elevated, metabolism slows, cravings increase, and the body holds on to water and weight as a form of safety.

This is not resistance.
It is self preservation.

The beautiful shift happens when inflammation begins to calm.

✨ The body feels safer.
✨ Hormones begin to communicate again.
✨ Digestion steadies.
✨ Cravings soften.
✨ And weight slowly, naturally finds its balance.

There is no need to push or punish the body into change.

Healing weight release always begins from within.

When we support the gut, the liver, the adrenals, hydration, and gentle, consistent herbal support, the body responds in its own time. It releases when it feels safe enough to do so.

Some of the conversations I care about most need more space.

They aren’t meant to be rushed or condensed. They need context, nuance, and room to breathe.

That’s why I write a newsletter.

It’s where I share longer reflections, connect the dots between symptoms and the systems that influence them, and offer gentle guidance you can return to in your own time. No trends to chase. No overwhelm. Just thoughtful insight, grounded in care.

I also want it to be shaped by what you’re navigating right now.

If you’d like to receive it, you’re warmly welcome to subscribe. And if you feel called, tell me, what would you love to explore or understand more deeply?

We ask a lot of our skin and eyes without realizing it.

Between screens, sunlight, and the pace of everyday life, our bodies need deeper, more intentional support.

Good fats are not the enemy, they are the quiet keepers of warmth, clarity, and cellular comfort.

Every cell in your body is wrapped in a delicate fat membrane, and when that membrane is nourished with the right, unheated, natural fats, the body feels supple, steady, focused, and alive.

When fats are damaged by heat and processing, the body feels it everywhere, in the joints, the skin, the mind, and even the mood.

This is why I always teach, cook with water or broth, and add your good oils at the very end.

One small shift, one powerful ripple through every system.

Good fats soften inflammation, steady blood sugar, calm cravings, nourish the brain, support hormones, and even help the body feel safe enough to release stubborn weight. ⚖️🌿

This is nourishment at the cellular level, a true exhale for the body.

If you have ever felt confused about fats, omega balance, or why your body craves what it does, this deep dive is for you. 💫

✨ Crème Budwig, a Swiss French breakfast I have loved since the 1980s

I was introduced to this recipe in the early 1980s by Dr. Catherine Kousmine, a brilliant Swiss physician who believed that how we begin the day sets the tone for the body, the digestion, and the nervous system.

Her work was inspired by Dr. Johanna Budwig, a German biochemist whose research revealed the powerful synergy between cold pressed flaxseed oil and sulphur rich proteins such as quark or cottage cheese.

Dr. Kousmine expanded this concept into what became Crème Budwig, a creamy, mineral rich, deeply nourishing breakfast designed to truly feed the body, not just fill the stomach.

When I start my day this way, I am grounded, satisfied, and steady for hours. No spikes, no crashes, just quiet nourishment and real energy.

This is the kind of breakfast that feels alive. Simple, traditional, and deeply supportive.

If you love wholesome, European inspired foods that honour the body, this one is a favourite worth returning to again and again.

My original handwritten notes from the 1980s, ingredients included, are in the final slide.

Bon appétit 🩵

If there is one New Year’s resolution I would lovingly invite you to make this year, let it be this:
prioritize your colon, and everything else begins to follow 🌿

So much of our immunity, energy, mood, inflammation, hormones, skin, and even brain health traces back to the gut. Nearly everything the body builds or battles passes through this one powerful system first.

When elimination is sluggish, the body works harder. When the gut flows well, the whole body breathes easier.

I have seen it for decades in practice, and I have lived it myself. When the colon is supported, the body has the space to heal, restore, and thrive. It truly is the quiet foundation of vibrant health.

If you are ready to begin this journey with clarity and confidence, I invite you to listen to EP18: Gut Microbiomes Part 1 on the Healthy You Naturally podcast.

It is a gentle, practical starting point for one of the most important health shifts you can make this year ✨

Cheers, and welcome to a new year 🥂
A soft beginning to 2026.

This moment is an invitation to pause, to listen, and to choose intentions rather than resolutions.

Resolutions push the body forward.
Intentions walk beside it.

After a full, emotional, and beautiful December, most bodies are not asking for discipline. They are asking for care.

You may notice more inflammation this time of year. That does not mean anything is wrong. Inflammation is not an enemy. It is information.
A gentle message saying, “Something needs attention. Can we slow down?”

It is never punishment.
It is communication.

So instead of trying to start over, try asking your body one simple question each day,
“What would help me feel safe and supported right now?”

For January, choose one steady intention that creates safety in the body. Nothing dramatic. Nothing perfect.

- Warm or hot water.
- Vegetables first.
- Herbs each day.
- Earlier nights.
- A gentle walk.
- Breathing with rest.
- Chlorophyll or minerals.

When the body feels safe, beautiful things begin to happen.

- Inflammation softens.
- Hormones begin to communicate again.
- Digestion steadies.
- Energy returns.
- Cravings quiet.
- Balance finds its way home.

Consistency is not restriction.
Consistency is reassurance.

Wishing you a grounded, nourishing, and gently uplifting start to the year 🩵

What is health, really?
Not just the absence of illness, but a feeling of wholeness in body, mind, and life itself. 🌿

According to the World Health Organization, true health is complete physical, mental, and social well being. And yet, most of us were never taught how to define that for ourselves.

Health is not one size fits all. It is a relationship you build with your body over time, with curiosity, compassion, and intention. And as we stand on the edge of a brand new year, I find myself wondering, what might health look in the season ahead?

Before we turn the page on this year, I just want to say thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support, your trust, and your willingness to grow with me over the past year. It has meant more than I can put into words. I truly wish you the healthiest, happiest New Year possible.

This is also why I created the What Is Health Guidebook. It gently walks you through uncovering your own personal definition of health, so you can step into the new year with clarity, intention, and a deeper connection to your body.

It is something I like to revisit personally once or twice per year (or as often as needed) and I simply thought to share with you.

For a limited time, this guidebook is available as a complimentary digital copy.

Walking has always been one of my most trusted forms of movement. Not because I love “exercise,” but because I love how walking clears the mind, supports the body, and brings me back into balance 🌿

What truly resonated with me in recent research is this simple truth:
It is not about taking more steps.
It is about taking longer, uninterrupted walks.

Just one 15-minute block or more each day can create meaningful, lasting health benefits. Gentle on the body. Steady for the nervous system. Sustainable for real life.

For 2026, I am choosing longer walks as part of my personal rhythm. Not chasing numbers. Not striving for perfection. Simply moving in a way my body understands and responds to. Fifteen minutes… then twenty… then twenty-five. A rhythm I can trust.

Our bodies do not need more rules. They need consistency, kindness, and movement that feels good.

If walking is part of your journey too, I would love to hear your intention. 💚

Here is to movement that nourishes, not pressures.
