Erin Mills Lodge In 2016, Schlegel Villages welcomed the team members and residents of Erin Mills Lodge in Mississauga to the broader organization.

There has always been a sense of family in this close-knit home, and we’re proud that this connectedness carries on today. Erin Mills Lodge is an 86 bed Long Term Care home located on Dundas Street by Erin Mills Parkway.

We have kicked off December with a lot of holiday cheer!!!

Dancing and singing our way through Christmas /holiday music with a few of our favourite entertainers; Erin Marie, Vili and Jack Garson.

We donated another batch of Nic- U hats to the Sabrina Rosa foundation

Winter Olympics tryouts/ practice started.

We had our beloved chair yoga class with instructor Shelia. She zoomed in all the way from India so we didn't miss out! Thank you for your dedication.

We headed to St.Peters Church for their Seniors tea this afternoon. And after dinner went on one of our Chrismtas light tours.

What a great way to kick off the month with so much more to come.

From November 22- December 12th we will be collecting donations to help warm up our local community. We partnered again with .the.bounty

Look for the white Christmas tree with pink, purple, and gold decorations on the lower level. There is a sign on it.

New or gently used warm items can be placed on or under the tree.

We thank you for your generosity.

👻 It was a spooktacular day at EML! 🎃

Residents, volunteers, team, and family members dressed up as butterflies, strawberries, cowgirl, angel Wednesday Adam's, dracula, gardener,cat dinosaur, devil, and a huge group of witches!

Our best team member costume winner was Viginia with her drop head costume.

Pro tip from residnet Sharon... take out your glow in the dark false fangs before you eat the chocolate. Noted!!

Today we went in our annual trip to one of our favourite places, Springridge Farm!

It was a beautiful day to pick pumpkins and enjoy lunch and cider outside. We love the accessibility of the farm with paved walkways. We ran into quite a few people from other long-term term care and retirement homes as well.

Their lunch and baked goods are always delicious. And the hospitality from everyone who works at Springridge always makes us feel so welcome.

To say we had fun today would be an understatement!

Hazel Lane residents headed to Erindale Park for a delicious picnic lunch prepared by our lovely food service manager, Madelaine.

The weather was perfect, we played some games, went for a nice walk, had ice cream and topped it off with an impromptu karaoke session with Joao's family who came with a speaker and two microphones! We had people walking by dancing and singing a long as well. Many laughs and dances shared.

With a break in the heat lately, we have been holing our chair yoga class outside on our balcony with our favourite yoga instructor, Shelia. We do this class three times a month for one hour. Family members and friends are always welcome to join in.
