A return to an old concept that should make Funerals more comforting to families, better for communities and help Churches .
Churches are the original "Community Center"
Local churches support innumerable charities, social causes and community groups, yet struggle to pay their bills.
Churches are a great support system for those that have suffered a loss. Most of us have family that do not live close enough to visit daily, weekly or yearly. After a loss, everyone comes together for support, but that is only temporary. Church support groups and congregations become an extended family which is extremely beneficial after everyone has left.
I recently started a funeral service which works directly with churches within communities. (all churches are welcome) Any member of the community can go to their local church and make complete funeral arrangements within that church. (Arrangement, Visitation, Service and Reception - No need for a Funeral Home) The prices are much less (Complete transparent pricing is on the site) than a Funeral Home and approximately half the profit goes to the church.
Please ask your Church if they would like to partner with us to create a better Funeral Service.
It is not a new idea, just a good one.
