This is for therapist to help to keep your skills sharp: I will post a question and one possible answer to the question each week. This 2 min video will give symptoms and a summary of what you discovered after the assessment. What you need to do is decide which position to start the client in and the muscles or area you plan on addressing and maybe modalities. (quick treatment plan) there are many ways to make a cake so it would be interesting to hear your opinion. Saturday I will post one solution with reasoning and rationale. Have fun..https://youtu.be/DxWBT0T-cZI

Fantastic!!! You have decided to participate in some form of exercise/movement especially after being non-active for days. What ever you decide to do please take the time to warm up your muscles. There are a lot of videos out there jumping right into pushups, sit-ups, jumping jacks or using weights..etc. Take the time to loosen up then go and do your activity followed by stretching at the end. Stay healthy!! If you don't know what to do I have a few functional short (2-5 minute) videos and they should help with functional movement. Be well....

This is a short clip from my DVD:Back to the 80's High/low workout. I put this out with the intention of : 1 to make you laugh or 2. get you a little motivated in such trying times.

At home not being active? Well, before you jump up and start becoming active, please remember to warm up. Don't try to go from 3 days of doing nothing to standing and ready to do strenuous heart pumping activity. Gradually move into activity by slowly mobilizing your body. I've been asked to put up some of my old videos so people can do some functional movement or sit-ups, push-ups, etc. Please remember that you should check with your doctor before attempting to do what is in any of these videos. This specific one is on sit-ups. (They can serve 2 purposes. 1. get a good laugh at the outfits. 2. Could get a good workout)

This is a section of a fitness video that filmed in Toronto, Canada. Please seek doctors permission before attempting to follow any part of this video. You could just view the video section and get a good laugh which would cause tightening of the abdominal and there you have it a workout.

Response to some clients concerns:
As it's important to keep an open line of communication, I have answers to questions that clients have texted or emailed me. Updates on how we're handling the COVID-19 pademic at the clinic. Our focus remains on the health and safety of all our clients and therapists during this time. Please read the following so we are all in alignment.
An important note on COVID-19:
COVID-19 is spread through respiratory droplets, it cannot be transmitted through sweat. For the past 11 years we have been using and will continue to use hospital grade disinfectant to maintain safe practices, we will continue to provide a safe environment. In addition, 8 years ago we started using gloves during our treatments and will continue to protect and provide quality service.

Health Precautions to take:
• Wash and disinfect your hands often
• Refrain from touching your face (mouth, nose, eyes)
• If a client feels sick or ill even runny nose we advise them to stay home

What Paul Lewis Services(clinic) www.paullewis.ca is looking like:

The clinic will stay open at the current time. We will continue to schedule clients with at least 15 to 30 minute time frame between clients. This gives us up to a 30 minute window to clean and disinfect rooms and surfaces.
If we are forced to close the clinic, due to mandated closures, we will comply with Canadian Law and Public Health Authorities, and do the right thing for our clients.
At this time we continue to stay open and provide high quality service.
