If your back is constantly tight, you need to know this technique. 🙌
Using 2 air-filled myofascial balls in a sock, you can release deep spinal tension — at home, on your own time.
The secret? Sink into it for at least 5 minutes. Wait for the release. Then move.
No rolling. No forcing. Just your body doing what it was designed to do.

This is a hard one to hear, but if your pain keeps coming back you probably haven’t found it’s fascial root.
Fascia supports every single structure in the body so if it’s stuck down, pain can show up almost anywhere in the body as a result of the lines of tension that restriction creates.

I used to hide in the back of every yoga class. 🧘🏻‍♀️
Not because I was late.
Because I was ashamed of my body.
Tight hamstrings.
Nerve pain when I tried to stretch.
A downward dog that looked nothing like anyone else’s.
And the worst part?
I was getting my Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
I should have known better.
At least, that’s what I told myself.
What nobody ever told me — not in gym class at 12, not in grad school at 22 — was why my body held so much tension.
Nobody asked why a child would have obscenely tight hamstrings and nerve pain from a basic stretch.
It wasn’t until I discovered Myofascial Release that I finally got an answer.
My fascia — the connective tissue woven through my entire body — had been holding years of stored stress and trauma.
It wasn’t a flexibility problem.
It was a nervous system problem.
And no amount of painful stretching was going to fix that.
MFR taught me how to release that tension gently, without triggering my nervous system.
It gave me back my body.
My hamstrings are still tighter than most.
I probably won’t ever make a perfect triangle in downward dog.
But I can touch my toes.
My low back doesn’t ache anymore.
And I don’t hide in the back of the room.

If you’ve ever felt like your body was wrong — like you couldn’t do what everyone else seemed to do so easily — I want you to know: your body isn’t broken.

It’s just been carrying something nobody helped you put down.
