We’re excited to welcome Dr. Emily Sloot, Optometrist, to The Eye Clinic Mississauga. As of December 1st, Dr. Sloot has joined our team and continues to care for the Port Credit community, where she has been serving families for many years.

Known for her calm, patient-centered approach, Dr. Sloot provides comprehensive eye exams and family eye care for children and adults in Port Credit and Mississauga. We’re so happy to have a trusted, community-focused optometrist in Port Credit joining our clinic.

Sophie has been working alongside Dr. Ceaus for over 5 years, helping children and adults strengthen their visual skills, improve comfort, and build confidence in school, work, and everyday life.

What makes Sophie’s care so special?
She brings not only extensive training, but her own lived experience. Having faced learning and school challenges herself, she understands firsthand what many of our patients are going through — and she uses that empathy, patience, and insight to guide every child she works with. 👓💫

Whether she’s celebrating a breakthrough, cheering on a tough session, or offering gentle encouragement, Sophie has a gift for making patients feel seen, supported, and capable of amazing things.

✨ Meet Dr. Glenda Thai — one of the compassionate faces behind The Eye Clinic Mississauga! ✨

At our clinic, Dr. Thai and Dr. Ceaus share the same core values of care, connection, and contribution, creating a space where families of all ages feel welcomed, supported, and truly seen.

With advanced training in Glaucoma Management, Myopia Management, and Orthokeratology (Ortho-K), Dr. Thai is passionate about helping patients protect their vision at every age and stage of life. She also provides care in both English and Cantonese, allowing us to better serve our diverse community.

Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Dr. Thai training for her next half-marathon or relaxing with her fiancé and their adorable cat 🐾 — bringing the same dedication and balance to her personal life as she does to her patients.
