Celebrating 20 Years with Drew Schmitt!
Please join us in congratulating Drew Schmitt on 20 amazing years with Lawlor Therapy Support Services!

Drew started his journey as a passionate Rehabilitation Support Worker, and over the years, became a Manager and a key part of the Treatment Plan Team. His unwavering dedication, compassion, and support have touched the lives of countless clients and colleagues.

Known for his kindness, quirky sense of humour, and signature charm (as seen here Drew is a true gem in the Lawlor family.)
Drew, thank you for 20 years of heart, service, and unforgettable impact. We’re so lucky to have you!

Congratulations on 25 YEARS

For 25 years, Marcie has been a steady, compassionate force within our company — showing up with incredible dedication and care for every client and every team she’s worked with.
She leads with empathy, supports with strength, and brings out the best in those around her.
We are so grateful — and deeply fortunate — to have her as part of our team.
Here’s to Marcie and the countless lives she’s touched over the past 25 years. 💛

Nine years.
It’s hard to believe it’s been that long since we lost Rob Kattenhorn—an extraordinary man, a devoted colleague, and a true light in the lives of every client and family he worked with.

Rob was more than a rehab worker. He was the person you wanted in the room when things were hard. Compassionate, sharp, and fiercely dedicated, he poured himself into his work and left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to cross paths with him.

He was named OBIA’s Rehabilitation Worker of the Year, and anyone who worked with him knows exactly why. We still talk about Rob, we still laugh about his jokes, and we still feel the space he left behind.

Sending love to his family, especially his beloved son Trevyn.
We miss you, Rob. Always will.

Let’s raise a glass (and the volume!) for Kirsten Hadleycrane — an incredible woman who lit up every room she walked into, fiercely advocated for brain injury survivors, and brought so much heart and humour to everything she did. Join us for a night of karaoke, laughter, and love as we celebrate Kirsten’s legacy as she would’ve wanted: casual, fun, and full of connection. This night is for you, whether you’re belting out a ballad, cheering on friends, or just vibing with good food and great company. All proceeds will directly support BIAPH’s Programs & Services, which Kirsten passionately supported.

BONUS: Double the Impact! Thanks to the fantastic folks at Foisy & Associates, every donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000. That means your ticket, donation, or sponsorship goes twice as far in helping families impacted by brain injury.

So grab your crew, warm up those vocal cords, and come out to honour Kirsten in the most “Kirsten” way possible—with heart, humour, and a whole lot of karaoke.

Every year Lawlor Therapy Support Services gives out an award we call the Rob Kattenhorn Missions and Values Award. Rob was a very special person to us and to many in the rehab community. We sadly lost him in 2016 and in his honour we award an exceptional rehabilitation support worker every year. This year we congratulate Mike Patterson!!
Thank you Mike for your years of service supporting clients and their families. You have made such an impact on so many lives. Thank you for being YOU!!
