It's been a wonderful, strange, beautiful and tough year. Feeling grateful and privileged to be in a home of our own. To have warmth, food and safety when so many do not.
To have my family with me. To have their love and support and all the craziness - it's been a wonderful wacky year and look at us on the other end - warm and toasty by a fire.
To be a woman - though it's been like driving with a blindfold over lots of potholes while trying not to drive off the edge of a cliff.
I am so blessed to have so many beautiful and amazing friends new and old.

Sending lots of positive vibes into 2026. May there be more love.

The recently uploaded lots of pictures that we had not seen in a long time. Like our amazing wedding picture! 😍
Or our trip during covid,.the end of summer 2020 as well as our travels to a cabin in the middle of nowhere by a farm when I was pregnant with Theo!

"No more photos mommy....there is room in the ice cream truck for you too!!!"
He turned three and BOOM imagination is everywhere!!!! We spent two hours playing with construction buttons at the kitchen table( which is a lot of work for a parent....there was so much singing and then we turned them into Shadow puppets. I fell asleep at the table and he woke me up "play more mommy"), and these pillows turned from an ice cream truck to a boat to a fire truck to a pirate ship.

Right now he is fixing the plumbing in the sofa and it's just wonderful! He is so amazing, children are so amazing!

Had a wonderful brunch on the weekend, lots of running, looking for construction and finally sitting on knees to eat.
Glad to not have to do the many dishes that came with breakfast ( thought it was very delicious 😋).

We went to zoo. We had a really lovely time, especially when we got to the farm Theo really seems to love pigs ( the Kunekune big was adorable). He walked and ran and for snack time jumped in the wagon. There were big feeling moments and there was a "thank you mama" and a "good idea mama" in between leaving the wagon in the bushes so I could run after him.
Can't wait for more zoo days ( we are going back again this week with and I can't wait!!).

Happiest Birthday to our Little dude! and I can hardly believe it's been two years already.

It's been a year of many first and so many new adventures, you've been such a champ through it all. His independence is peaking out and he has become very vocal about his opinions. The phrasing of terrible does not fit....triumphant twos sound much more like what's going on here.

What kinda cake do you want? Apple cake! ( along with apple milk and apple tea). He loved the frosting, the cake was good too....just no thank you to the apples 💖😊

It's been three and a half months since Theodore joined our little growing family. and I feel like time has moved by so slowly and quickly at the same time. It feels like little Theo has always been with us.
It's been an adventure, some moments are hard and overwhelming and other unknown, but hes such a cheerful little dude. We are getting to know him better ever day, he loves dancing, reading, looking up at tall things, bath time, rainbow ribbons and one strange Montessori toy. He loves making the bed in the morning and looking out the window.
Ever baby is different. I'm realizing this ever day, often I need to be reminded. Hes closing in on 9kg, takes 4-5 minutes to feed, and poops infrequent but pees a whole bunch. He's happy, healthy and thriving and we love him Oh so dearly.
