After a long break, our Prenatal Yoga Series is Back!! But this time with a different instructor who most of you already know.
Our very own Registered Massage Therapist, Harpreet will be leading our Prenatal series. Harpreet spent all of 2025 immersed in learning traditional yoga and obtained her yoga teacher certification and is honoured and very excited to be able to offer you an in-depth prenatal yoga class while combining all her years of experience as an RMT.
Pregnancy is a beautiful and transformative journey, bringing many physical and emotional changes. Our Prenatal Yoga classes are designed to gently support mothers-to-be through this special time.
The practice is rooted in Hatha Yoga, a traditional system that emphasizes balance and harmony through four key components: Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (breath regulation), Mudras (intentional hand gestures), and Bandhas (subtle energy locks). Together, these elements create a holistic practice that nurtures the body, steadies the mind, and supports the natural rhythms of pregnancy.
In our sessions, gentle asanas are thoughtfully paired with calming pranayama techniques, creating a mindful connection between movement and breath. This harmonious practice helps release physical tension, improve circulation, and bring a sense of ease to the body as it adapts to the changes of pregnancy. Guided breathing during each posture not only supports smoother movement but also calms the mind and soothes the nervous system.
Prenatal Yoga offers a nurturing space where mothers can connect with their bodies with greater awareness and care. Whether you are new to yoga or already familiar with the practice, our classes provide a supportive and peaceful environment to experience the calming and strengthening benefits of Hatha Yoga throughout pregnancy.
