Many kids go through picky phases — but sometimes feeding challenges need extra support.

Consider a feeding assessment if you’re noticing:
• very limited food variety
• gagging/choking/coughing at meals
• strong distress or avoidance at the table
• refusing textures (only crunchy / only smooth)
• worries about growth, weight, or nutrition

Feeding therapy focuses on making mealtimes safer, calmer, and more successful.

Movement really does build confidence 💛🌿

Strong motor skills help children explore their world with confidence — from climbing the playground, to learning new sports, to simply keeping up with friends at school. When movement feels hard, kids may avoid activities, tire quickly, or become frustrated. The good news? With the right support, motor skills can improve and confidence can grow.

At Developing Hands, our physiotherapy and occupational therapy services help children build the foundations for everyday movement, including:
• strength and endurance
• balance and coordination
• core stability and posture
• body awareness (proprioception)
• motor planning for new skills (jumping, running, stairs, biking, etc.)
• fine + gross motor skills for daily routines

Whether your child is working on milestones, struggling with coordination, or needs support with independence in daily activities, we’re here to help them move, play, and participate fully — with confidence.
