Established in 1991 we pride ourselves on providing a superior environment with experienced registered massage therapists and physiotherapists. European Massage and Physiotherapy Center provides 5 fully private massage therapy rooms with in-room showers and relaxing ambient music. Massage Therapy and Physiotherapy are covered by many policies including: Employee Benefits, Car Insurance and WSIB.

🦵 Hip Flexor Stretch (Posture & Lower Back Relief)
Targets: Hip flexors, quads, pelvis

Step-by-Step:

Kneel on your right knee with your left foot in front, forming a 90° angle with the front leg.

Keep your torso upright and hands on your hips or front thigh for balance.

Gently press your hips forward while keeping your back straight. You should feel a stretch in the front of your right hip.

Hold for 20–30 seconds, then switch legs.

Optional: Raise your arms overhead for a deeper stretch.

If you are unable to do this modality  due to increased pain, this exercise is not for you. If you feel any pain STOP immediately. If pain increases, contact your physiotherapist or physician.

🐈‍⬛ Cat-Cow Stretch (Spinal Mobility & Core Warm-Up)
Targets: Spine, core, lower back

Step-by-Step:

Start on your hands and knees in a tabletop position.

Make sure your wrists are under your shoulders and knees under your hips.

Cow Pose: Inhale, arch your back, drop your belly toward the floor, lift your head and tailbone toward the sky.

Cat Pose: Exhale, round your spine, tuck your chin to your chest, and pull your belly up toward your spine.

Repeat slowly for 8–10 breaths, moving fluidly between Cat and Cow.

If you are unable to do this modality  due to increased pain, this exercise is not for you. If you feel any pain STOP immediately. If pain increases, contact your physiotherapist or physician.
