This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and courage of the incredible women in our community. The 2026 IWD theme is ‘Give to Gain’. Give To Gain emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organizations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. At JFJ Hope Centre, we are committed to empowering women with hope, support, and opportunities to build brighter futures. Every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and valued, not just today, but every day. Today is Parent Mental Health Day, a reminder that caring for parents’ well-being is essential to a thriving family. Parenthood is rewarding, but it’s also filled with challenges that can feel overwhelming.

If you’re a parent, remember to give yourself grace. It’s okay to ask for help, take breaks, and prioritize your mental health. By taking care of yourself, you’re also taking care of your family.

Thanks to our amazing community partners, we were able to bless over 40 families with our annual Christmas Celebration! Families enjoyed dinner, crafts, a Santa visit, family photos, and a new pair of PJ’s and gift for every child. Thank you to everyone who made this possible—your generosity made the season brighter!
