⏳A Place Rooted in History
🍃St. John’s Dixie Cemetery isn’t just a final resting place—it’s part of Mississauga’s rich and living history. 📍Located at the northeast corner of Cawthra Road and Dundas Street, the grounds span 10 peaceful acres, quietly joined with the historic Dixie Union Chapel dating back to 1816.
👣Generations have walked these paths. Many of the region’s founding families are laid to rest here, their legacies interwoven with the development of the community itself.
🍂As time has passed, so has the cemetery grown—from its original origins to its expansion in 1954, making space for those who continue to choose St. John’s Dixie as a final resting place.
🍂Here, history and remembrance live side by side, honouring lives from the past while serving families today with the same care and dignity.
