⛳ Golfer's Elbow?!🏌
👉 You might remember that we recently discussed Tennis Elbow (Lateral epicondylitis). Golfer's Elbow (Medial epicondylitis) is very similar!
😬 Common symptoms associated with Golfer's Elbow include pain in the inner Elbow that may extend into the forearm, stiffness in the Elbow joint, and weakness or numbness that may extend into the fingers.
💪There are many preventative measures you can take to prevent Golfer's Elbow, including:
🏋️♀️ Strenthenging the forearm muscles with light weightlifting
🧘 Prioritizing warm-ups and stretching
🏌♀️Ensuring you use the proper equipment for the specific task, sport, or job
👫 Working with a professional to fix your form and ensure that you are properly performing movements in the safest way for you
🛌 Taking frequent rest from repetitive tasks which cause strain to the elbow
😰 If the pain doesn't subside following use of ice, over-the-counter pain medications and rest, it's time to see a rehab professional!
🙌 Our team of physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists and personal trainers can help you get rid of your Golfer's Elbow and get back on the green! ⛳
