The Ontario Government announced that as of March 21, masks will no longer be required in public spaces EXCEPT for public transit, health care settings, long-term care homes, and congregate care settings.

As Align Physiotherapy + Sports Clinic is a health care setting, physiotherapists and patients are required to continue to wear masks inside the clinic at all times.

We appreciate your continued support and understanding as we navigate through the situation together as a community. We will also continue to keep our usual infection control protocols in place, including screening and regular disinfecting.

COVID has made this quite an interesting year, and we want to extend a HUGE thank you to our wonderful patients and community for their support throughout. We are incredibly grateful for everyone's patience and cooperation that has allowed us to remain open and safe.

While Ontario remains in a stay-at-home order, all regulated health professionals, including physiotherapists and registered massage therapists, are permitted to remain open for in-person services. Telerehab is available for those who are interested in remote care.

Although Ontario is moving into a lockdown, our clinic will remain open for in-person services as all regulated health professionals have been permitted to continue to operate by the Ministry of Health. We will also continue to provide telerehab for those who are interested in remote care.

While a second provincial emergency order has been declared, the Ministry of Health has permitted all regulated health professionals, including physiotherapy and massage therapy, to remain open for in-person services. We are THRILLED to welcome Marcus Dusseault as Align Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic's newest physiotherapy resident! Some of you may recognize him from the 12 weeks he spent at Align completing his final placement this past summer.

Marcus is committed to personal growth and development, beginning with the Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy curriculum. Our team of FCAMPT physios is delighted to provide mentorship and guidance as he works towards this designation.

Similar to his colleagues at Align, Marcus’ goal is to combine a hands-on approach to treatment with functional exercise and education to help meet the rehabilitation needs of every individual.

We are excited to have Marcus as a part of the Align team and look forward to watching him develop.
