Nurture Lactation Services Nurture Lactation Services offers breastfeeding education and support services to families in the Mississauga and Greater Toronto Area West (GTA).

Nurture Lactation Services provides breastfeeding education and support. Services offered are prenatal breastfeeding classes, private home or hospital visits postpartum, introduction to solids classes as well as continued follow-up and care. Breastfeeding support may help the following: multiple births, induced lactation or relactation support, premature breastfeeding guidance and suuport, non-latching baby, breast pain, ni**le trauma, weight gain/loss issues, gassy/ colic babies, returning to work, pumping exclusively or partial pumping, and increasing or decreasing milk supply. Private home and hospital visits typically run about 1.5-2 hrs. A full assessment of both mother and baby are completed. We will look at your family's health history, discuss your breastfeeding goals, address the barriers/ challenges, initiate an plan and follow-up expectations. Breastfeeding support will continue via phone/ email for the remainder of your breastfeeding relationship. A summary of the visit will be provided to your health care proffesional. Prenatal Breastfeeding clases typically run 1.5 hours and may be done in a private setting or a group setting at the clients request. Classes cover anatomy and phisiology of breastfeedning, benefits of breastfeeding, positioning techniques, what to expect in the first hour post birth as well as the first few weeks and months of the breastfeeding relationship.

This boy made me so proud today. Finished first for Gr 4, 8th overall in Gr 5 and 4 boys and top finisher for his school. This kid is so determined and with a work ethic like a machine. The heart of a lion. Is it weird that I felt nervous for his race? The same feeling I’d get before my own races.

Content creating! I love teaching and I love helping families with their breastfeeding and infant feeding goals. What better way then to combine two passions and develop content to help families far and wide. This morning I’m working for all those parents who are pumping. I want GOOD info out there. I want you to feel empowered to get the best information about pumping practices so that you have the most rewarding time pumping. The videos that I am working on will be live soon so stay tuned!
