Mississauga Long Term Care Facility provides services to clients who require facility-based long-term care. We are an accredited facility with all applicable government legislation and the Canadian Council on Health Services Association Standards. Mississauga Long Term Care is a welcoming and supportive environment, located in the well-known town of Port Credit, in a quiet residential neighbourhood, one block from the Credit River and minutes to Lake Ontario. Under the same management since 1974, this established home believes in holistic emphasis on individualized care that meets the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual requirements and needs of each resident. Home to 55 residents, our home-like atmosphere and resident focused care has been created by top notch, happy and dedicated staff. Low employee turnover has contributed to strong staff-resident relations, and a vibrant Residents’ Council. We are a place to offer the best of care and peace of mind in a personal environment with the same familiar caregivers. Our person centered approach to caring for our residents involves listening, collaboration with the resident and family, sharing ideas and seeking feedback. We do not apply a “one-size-fits-all” approach to our care. Instead, we individualize our care plans and routines to an individualized approach. We recognize that family members are integral members of the care team because they provide important information to help us care for their loved one.
