Most people jump into the pose…
but miss the foundation — and that’s where discomfort begins.

👉 Shift your hips back
👉 Press the mat away
👉 Let the movement come from your foundation (feet + hips)

When this changes, the whole pose feels different.

If you have tight hips or foot discomfort (including bunions), this matters even more.

Yoga is not just movement — it’s a transformation at the cellular level. With consistent practice, we don’t just feel better — we become better, right down to our DNA. I’ve lived it, experienced it, and witnessed its power. Let yoga be your path to healing, growth, and inner strength. 🌿

On this International Yoga Day, I celebrate the practice that has transformed my life — body, mind, and spirit. Yoga is more than physical postures; it’s a powerful discipline that influences our nervous system, balances hormones, improves emotional regulation, and yes — even rewires our DNA. Studies in the field of epigenetics have shown that consistent yoga, breathwork, and meditation can downregulate genes associated with stress and inflammation while upregulating genes linked to immunity, longevity, and cellular repair.

I’ve personally experienced this transformation — in energy, resilience, peace, and clarity. Struggling with restless nights? A gentle yoga practice before bed can help calm the nervous system, release tension, and prepare your body for deep, restful sleep. Incorporate these soothing poses into your nighttime routine:

✨ Legs Up the Wall – Relieves stress and improves circulation
✨ Seated Forward Fold – Stretches the spine and quiets the mind
✨ Cow Stretch – Loosens tension in the back and shoulders
✨ Child’s Pose – Encourages relaxation and deep breathing
✨ Standing Forward Fold – Eases tightness in the lower back and hamstrings
✨ Bridge Pose – Opens the chest and promotes relaxation
