This past weekend, in partnership with renowned iconographer Marianna Savaryn, we were honoured to host the special premiere screening of Written in Prayer on February 28 and March 1 at Ivan Franko Homes.
During the event, we proudly recognized Marianna’s generous donation of 35 sacred icons, which will become a permanent part of the new Centre for Aging and Longevity, opening in Fall 2026. As part of our fundraising campaign, these icons are available for sponsorship, and we are grateful that several have already been sponsored — a meaningful reflection of our community’s commitment to preserving heritage while building for the future.
This initiative brings together faith, tradition, and philanthropy, ensuring the Centre will be enriched not only architecturally, but spiritually and culturally.
We extend our sincere thanks to Lesia Babiak, respected Board member and interviewer, for thoughtfully guiding the narrative, and to director Dmytro Zhmovka for his compelling artistic vision.
