Level 1: Foundation of Thai Massage and its Level 2: Intermediate course. Each of these courses is 30 hours in length and provided over 2 weekends in the beautiful first floor of the Victoria Street EastND clinic in Moncton.
Level 1: Learn to give an effective 1.5 hour treatment in the supine and seated position.

Level 2: Continue your Thai Massage journey learning more advanced stretches and techniques in the side position, prone and seated. Note level 1 is a mandatory prerequisite for access to this course.

The Level 1 course covers supine and seated positions, learn to work energy lines (Sen), while mastering the art of applying pressure with precision using thumbs, fingers, palms, elbows, forearms, and even feet, all while working harmoniously with your client on floor mats.
Level 2: Intermediate course teaches sideline, prone and expands on the seated techniques so by the end of both courses, you can have enough knowledge to conduct a 3 hour or longer massage if you choose!
Beyond the practical techniques which account for the majority of the course, immerse yourself in the theoretical and holistic aspects of Thai massage. Explore the sacred rituals of the "Wai Kru" ceremony, embrace daily mantras, yogic exercises and gain insight into the history and variations of Thai massage in Thailand. Plus, unlock the secrets to successful treatments, ethical guidelines, contraindications, and more.
Each student receives a detailed course book filled with theoretical insights, technique diagrams, and shorthand for easy reference. With personalised guidance from our expert instructor, you'll have the support you need to succeed every step of the way.
At the end of each course there is an evaluation requiring students to demonstrate their Thai Massage professionalism, time management, appropriate pressure, safe therapist posture and demonstrating a massage based on the techniques that you have learned. Don’t worry, the evaluation is open book and following the instructors guidance, you should have no problems passing with a 70% or higher mark. Fall below the 70% and you can rebook an examination time for an additional fee with the instructor. The evaluation is required to meet the basic standards set out by our affiliated Thai Massage school, ITM in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
For just $649+HST, receive your Canadian certificate upon successful completion of the course. Should you want to expand your learning horizons internationally add or with another ITM certified instructor apply for the ITM international Certificate for an additional $150+HST and have your certificate recognized by any ITM affiliated instructor globally.

Your instructor is James Harper. James took his first Thai Massage course in Thailand in 2001. He has spent over 3.5 years living in Thailand throughout his travels. He became a certified Thai Massage instructor in Thailand in 2019 through the prestigious ITM school of massage in Chiang Mai. James is a Registered Massage Therapist in New Brunswick and has been an international teacher for over a decade. He holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Education. He is passionate about Thai massage and the benefits it provides and would love to see Thai massage take root and spread throughout Atlantic Canada.
