Believe it or not…

For some clients, I use liquid chalk instead of oil. It gives me maximum friction and control for isolating and torquing muscle fibres.

My Story

I dove into the art of therapeutic massage in 2015, and every step as been incredibly expansive and full of purpose and love. Along my journey I felt so nurtured and supported by life; I was constantly creating amazing opportunities and exploring myself in ways I never have. Studying my anatomy and learning about every single function of my body, instilled a great deal of ambition within me and it was beautiful reassurance to the miracles that we are. It also spiked a passion for movement and brought awareness to my own restrictions.

I believe there is much more happening when we come into contact through touch than objective evidence can tell us. A lot of us are actually a little deprived of touch; a nurturing hand has great power. In Thai massage we use the term “metta” to describe the infusion of loving compassion into touch. I remember during my studies, I was asked to create a 5 year plan; one of the intentions I set was to learn Thai massage. Life has a beautiful way of arranging itself for me, and this fact was reassured when out of the blue, a couple of years later, my employers asked me if I was interested in travelling to learn the art of Thai massage. Studying this ancient art completely revved up my passion and love for massage. It showed me the infinite possibilities and creative potential in the manipulation of the body. I have also been incredibly blessed to be able to infuse my passion for music with my passion for healing. Our ancestors created a culture where song, prayer and ceremony were part of the deep roots. These roots are still part of us and it’s important to honor them any way we can. I work with instruments rooted in a multitude of cultures, such as the gong, fujara, singing bowl, and flute. Sound has a unique effect on everyone; it has the ability to induce deep relaxation, mystical experiences, out-of-body experiences, a sense of wholeness, and much more.

Love you All
