☕️ Ten years ago, a coffee-shop conversation in rural Nova Scotia sparked a movement that’s changing how the world cares for animals.
💚 Here’s an introduction to the origins of Adored Beast Apothecary, with co-founders Julie Anne Lee, DCH, RCSHom, and Dione Albert reflecting back on a decade of innovation. This was the beginning of what would turn into industry-firsts from the leaky-gut protocol for pets to breakthrough species-specific probiotics and research partnerships with Dalhousie University.
🐶🐱 It’s a story about more than supplements. It’s about science guided by conscience and the belief that healing animals and protecting the planet can (and must) go hand in hand.
Today we’re celebrating one of the most mysterious, misunderstood, and majestic creatures out there — the black cat! National Black Cat Day (October 27) was created to shine a light on them and to dispel the myths that have surrounded them for centuries. Despite their superstition-fueled reputation, black cats are actually symbols of luck, love, and loyalty across many cultures — and they deserve all the affection we can give 🐾
