We’re celebrating our BIGGEST Committed Club EVER with 96 CrossFit Moncton members showing up and working out in January. 💪

Whether it was cold mornings, busy schedules, or new resolutions - you made it happen.

Woohoo! Celebrating the one and only Marc Bourque today! Marc has been a solid fixture in our (mostly) evening classes ever since he began his CF journey! He’s gained strength, muscle, confidence, friends, and a whole new community of support. He’s lost…body fat, and that about it. Lol. Marc will be the first one to tell you that CrossFit changed, maybe even saved, his life. ❤️

Marc is a friend to ALL and has also been a visible rockstar member since day one - he has volunteered for literally every event we have held since we walked through our doors. Some people are true born helpers, and he certainly is one. We appreciate him so much!

CrossFit has some weird traditions. One of them is that we don’t just walk away from the workout when we are done. At least, not while there are other people still working out.

Because CrossFit isn’t just about your last rep.

We don’t high-five early.
We don’t start stripping bars or putting away gear while someone else is still grinding.

Why? Because that person on the floor—breathing fire, staring down the clock, fighting their own quit button—deserves the same space, respect, and energy you had when it was your turn.

We stay. We cheer. We count reps. We make eye contact that says you’re not alone. Because finishing last still means finishing, and sometimes those final reps are the bravest ones in the room.

In CrossFit, the workout isn’t really over until everyone is done.
Until the last bar hits the floor.
Until the last person crosses the line.

That’s the culture.
That’s the community.
That’s why this place feels like home. ❤️

Last week, we posted about how something as small and insignificant as a tiny sticker started to shift our culture.

In 2024, only a handful of people managed to hit 12 workouts every single month of the year. In 2025, that number grew to 31. No dramatic changes. No big incentives. Just a clear focus on one thing: showing up consistently. And of course, collecting the sticker to prove it.

This type of mindset matters more than intensity, motivation, or being “on it” all the time. When the goal is simply to come back again and again, habits form—and habits last.

To celebrate that commitment, we put the names of those 31 members into a draw for a brand new barbell!

🎉 Congratulations to Hannah Kinnie, the winner of the draw! Hannah has been a member at CFM for many years and it was amazing to send her home with this fantastic prize!

But the bigger win isn’t the prize.

The real success is 31 people proved that progress doesn’t come from doing more—it comes from doing the basics, repeatedly. From choosing consistency even on the days it would’ve been easier to skip.

That’s the lesson we’re most proud of:
Show up often enough, long enough, and real change follows.

We’re building something sustainable here—and it starts with consistency.

Something small made a big difference. 📈
In 2024, 5 people showed up at least 12 times every month of the year.

In 2025?
👉 31 people did.

What changed?
We didn’t overhaul our programming.
We didn’t chase motivation.
We didn’t ask people to be perfect.
We focused on consistency.

Show up 12 times in a month?
You get a sticker.

That’s it.
Not a prize.
Not a discount.

Just a small moment of recognition that says:
“You’re building a habit.”

And that tiny cue?
It worked.

People kept showing up.
Momentum built.
Consistency became part of the culture.

📊 Year over year:
-Perfect monthly consistency increased 6×
-Members showing up at least half the year grew by 55%
-The number of people building real, sustainable habits nearly doubled

It turns out:
People don’t need more pressure.
They need progress they can see.

Big change doesn’t always come from big moves.
Sometimes it comes from celebrating the small wins
and letting them stack.

That’s how real growth happens.
