The moment we have been waiting for! An Act Respecting the Right to a Healthy Environment will be tabled for the 3rd time at the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, tomorrow, December 12th. The Legislative Assembly is located at 706 Queen St, Fredericton, at 10am.

If you can attend in person, we suggest you arrive at 9:30am to give some time to get through security.

If you cannot attend in person but still wish to see the tabling of the bill, you are welcome to watch through LIVE Webcasts:

Our health is inextricably linked to the environment. This bill, based on provincial legislation from Ontario, Quebec, and the territories, would be the strongest Canada has seen, and could be the framework for other provinces to follow suit.

It is best practice to bring a telephone and let someone know where you are going and how long you will be.

La neige est tombée, mais les eaux continuent de couler, nous somes à la fin de l'automne. Le contenu de votre sac d'aventure change avec les conditions météorologiques. Voici les articles que je trouve indispensables pour passer une journée dehors à la fin de l'automne, sous la neige (sans compter les vêtements que je porte).

Y a-t-il quelque chose que vous ajouteriez au kit ?

🕊️ Volunteers Needed for the Christmas Bird Count – December 20! 🕊️

Nature Moncton is gearing up for the annual Christmas Bird Count on December 20, and we’re looking for volunteers to join the fun! Whether you’re an experienced birder or just bird-curious, you’re welcome.

You can spend part or the full day birding with one of our existing teams, helping track species across the count circle. It’s a great way to learn, explore, and be part of a long-running community science tradition.

We’ll wrap up the day with an optional supper at the Tankville School—always a cozy way to share sightings and stories.
