Through our partnership with Housing NB and Social Development, Alternative Residences Alternatives Inc. is proud to help bring 12 new supportive housing units to Salisbury. Homestead will provide a safe, secure space with 24/7 supports for individuals transitioning out of homelessness.
We look forward to welcoming our new residents—welcome home!

We’re deeply grateful for this $250,000 investment and the trust placed in our mission. Thanks to this support, we’ve created 12 new permanent supportive housing units in the Greater Moncton region for those who need them most.
Today’s presentation marked an important step forward—thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to stand behind this work.

For the past 10 years, Martin has been a dependable and hardworking part of our team. From repairing and building to tackling the everyday challenges that come with maintaining our residences, he brings skill, dedication, and care to everything he does.

His hard work at our new Homestead location has made a real difference, helping ensure the space is safe, welcoming, and well cared for the people who will live and work there.

Beyond the tools and projects, he’s also known for being a genuinely great person; always willing to help, always reliable, and always showing up with a positive attitude.

Community Partnership Opportunity | Support Adults Living with Mental Illness

Alternative Residences Alternatives Inc. (ARA) is preparing to open Homestead Supportive Living on April 1st. As a nonprofit organization supporting adults living with mental illness through stable housing and community-based supports, we are seeking community and corporate partners to help us fully furnish the home.

We are currently accepting in-kind donations including furniture, household items, small appliances, linens, cleaning supplies, and gift cards.

This is an opportunity for local businesses and community members to make a tangible impact in creating safe, supportive living environments.

The Amirault ARA Community received an incredibly thoughtful gift from Joanne from RBC 💙

She donated 18 gift bags filled with essentials, treats, and handmade mittens, delivering one to each resident.
Our residents were thrilled!
Joanne also volunteers throughout the year, playing bingo with residents. Thank you, Joanne, for adding an extra special touch and making this holiday season brighter. 🎄✨

Joanne de la Banque RBC 💙

Elle a fait don de 18 sacs-cadeaux remplis d’articles essentiels, de petites gâteries et de mitaines faites à la main, en en offrant un à chaque résident.
Nos résidents étaient ravis !
