šŸ’ Tonight, I found myself in an apartment gym—a place I haven’t been in seven years.

It took me back to the very start of my journey, when I made the decision to change my life.

At that time, I had just begun losing 115 pounds. My gym visits weren’t consistent—maybe once or twice a week, sometimes even less.

But I showed up, and that effort mattered.

I remember standing in front of the mirror, still carrying extra weight, but already seeing some progress from cutting out processed and junk foods.

I’d try to visualize the healthy, fit version of myself that I wanted to become.

I knew the road ahead was long, but by embodying that future version of myself in the present, I made the journey a bit easier.

Today wasn’t an easy day for me—maybe I’ll share more about that later. But as I stood in that gym, I realized something.

Despite the tough day, I’ve become the person I wished to be all those years ago. That alone is a success.

I’m far from perfect, and there’s still so much I want to achieve. But I’m on the path, and that’s what counts. It’s easy to forget how far we’ve come, especially when the road gets tough.

So, here’s your reminder—take a moment to acknowledge your progress. Give yourself some credit.

And if you haven’t started, begin embodying the person you want to become.

Believe that you can, because you absolutely can. šŸ’Ŗ

What would your life look like seven years from now if you fully committed to becoming the person you envision today? šŸ’„

I’ve never actually told the story behind this picture.

It was taken back in December 2016, and it was one of my many failed attempts to lose weight once and for all.

At that time, my uncle had recently won a bodybuilding competition and generously gave me his diet plan and exercise program to follow.

Naturally, I thought I’d get ahead of the game and start before the new year.

I bought all the supplements, all the food, and followed everything to a T.

I saw a bit of progress, but then Christmas came, the New Year followed, and after about a month or so, I just stopped.

Does this sound familiar to you? I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to start an exercise program, go all in, and then get derailed.

Something happens, and before you know it, you’re back where you started or worse.

It wasn’t until the end of summer 2017 that I made a significant shift that led me to lose over 115 pounds. For a couple of years, I maintained my weight at 170 pounds. At my heaviest, I was 285lbs.

As I built more muscle, I went up to 180 and stayed there for a few more years. Now, I’m at about 203.

I had no idea that this picture from 2016 would become a big part of my story, a story meant to inspire you and show you that anything is possible.

This physical transformation is just a visual representation of the internal changes I went through.

The real shift happened when I transformed myself from the inside out.

I realized that if I kept living the same way, I was headed for disease, sickness, suffering, and ultimately, an early death.

But if I changed my ways, I could finally be happy and healthy.

It all started with my mind. I visualized what I would look like if I were fit, and now, here I am. I’ve sustained this transformation for seven years, and I’m still building upon it.

It’s my passion to help you step into the best version of yourself, whether through posts like this or by working with me directly.

Much love, and here’s your inspiration for the day.šŸ™

ā€œI want to make changes but it just isn’t the right timeā€ - one of many excuses that I’ve heard often that keeps people stuck and unhealthy. šŸ’Æ
There’s no better time than now to put your health as a priority. Do you agree?

šŸ’”Fun Fact:

If an individual who is overweight does not lose weight despite engaging in regular exercise, pushing themselves in the gym, and maintaining a healthy, balanced diet free from junk and modern processed foods, (yes, even when counting calories) then their weight plateau could be attributed to one or more of the following factors:

1. Poor sleep quality.

2. Lack of oxygen in the tissues due to desaturation while sleeping.

3. Inflammation within fat cells.

4. Issues in the hypothalamus.

5. Insulin resistance.

6. Digestive problems or imbalances in the microbiome.

7. Liver function concerns.

These are just a few examples.

All of these conditions can be addressed to improve health and facilitate weight loss.

All of which I learned how to address in my Immune Centric Health Coach CertificationšŸ’ÆšŸ’Ŗ

Just ask how šŸ™‚

Today I randomly got a call from a friend and he said, ā€œHey man, I got a quote for you:

ā€˜Failures only happen with the opportunities you don’t take.ā€™ā€ šŸ’¬

And boom, I took the opportunity to make this post šŸ˜‰ . šŸ’”

Think about it.

Remember when you first tried to ride a bike? Scary at the start, right? But then, it became as natural as breathing.

That’s life.

Every new challenge is just a future success story in disguise. šŸš“ā€ā™‚ļøāœØ

But here’s the real tea: how many times have opportunities knocked, and we pretended not to be home?

Like when a coach says, ā€œI can change your life,ā€ and you’re all in, buzzing with excitement. But then, those pesky doubts creep in.

Suddenly, you’re back to square one, nestled in your comfort zone.

Familiar?

I thought soā€¦šŸšŖšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Here’s the kicker: diving into the unknown is how we grow.

Sure, it’s comfortable to stick with what we know, but where’s the fun in that? Where’s the growth? šŸŒ±šŸ”

So here’s the challenge: Let’s answer the door. Let’s welcome change like an old friend.

It’s time to break the cycle of ā€˜what ifs’ and step into the ā€˜what can be.’ šŸ‘Œ

Because guess what? The only real failure is missing out on what could have been.

Let’s not be those people. Let’s be the ones who looked ā€˜impossible’ in the eye and said, ā€œWatch me.ā€ šŸ’ŖšŸ‘€

Remember, every grand adventure starts with a decision to try.

So, what are you waiting for?

Open that door.

Your next chapter is waiting. šŸ“–šŸšŖ

What’s the next opportunity you will seize? I want to hear!šŸ‘‚

ā€œBe What You Want the World to Beā€

Imagine waking up one day, looking in the mirror and suddenly all of your life's problems begin to play like a movie right before your eyes, some of them you were aware of – others you were not. It gives you a clear sense of how your choices and habits of the past brought you to where you are right now in this current moment, and how severe your problems will be in the future if you continue living in the same way. You become anxious, confused and a little distressed. You ask yourself, ā€œHow did I not see this before?ā€. You continue watching the movie in the mirror and you begin to see what your future could look like if you make the correct changes and begin living in a different way. You see every aspect of your life such as physical, emotional, mental, social, occupational and beyond is flourishing with success. Excitement fills your veins as you realize the amazing potential that ā€œfuture-youā€ has in store. You think, ā€œThis is lovely and all... But how can I make this happen?ā€ – an image of a brain appears on the screen. You then realize the answer: ā€œAha!... My Mind!ā€
