š Tonight, I found myself in an apartment gymāa place I havenāt been in seven years.
It took me back to the very start of my journey, when I made the decision to change my life.
At that time, I had just begun losing 115 pounds. My gym visits werenāt consistentāmaybe once or twice a week, sometimes even less.
But I showed up, and that effort mattered.
I remember standing in front of the mirror, still carrying extra weight, but already seeing some progress from cutting out processed and junk foods.
Iād try to visualize the healthy, fit version of myself that I wanted to become.
I knew the road ahead was long, but by embodying that future version of myself in the present, I made the journey a bit easier.
Today wasnāt an easy day for meāmaybe Iāll share more about that later. But as I stood in that gym, I realized something.
Despite the tough day, Iāve become the person I wished to be all those years ago. That alone is a success.
Iām far from perfect, and thereās still so much I want to achieve. But Iām on the path, and thatās what counts. Itās easy to forget how far weāve come, especially when the road gets tough.
So, hereās your reminderātake a moment to acknowledge your progress. Give yourself some credit.
And if you havenāt started, begin embodying the person you want to become.
Believe that you can, because you absolutely can. šŖ
What would your life look like seven years from now if you fully committed to becoming the person you envision today? š„
