Congratulations to Brian Duplessis!

The New Brunswick Federation of Labour (NBFL), in collaboration with Argus Audiology, has recognized Brian Duplessis as the Sixth Recipient of the Owen MacLennan Trade Unionist of the Year Award.

In recognition, Argus Audiology proudly donated $1000, in Brian Duplessis’ name, to the NBFL Blair Doucet Summer Camp.

This award recognizes individual trade unionists who made a significant and/or ongoing contribution to the labour movement. It was created in loving memory of Owen MacLennan, the loving father of Norma Eaton who passed away in 2010.

Owen worked at Eastern Bakeries from 1951 to 1994. He had a strong work ethic and was an active member of the Bakery, Confectionery, To***co and Grain Millers Union (BCTGM) Local 406 in Moncton.

Since 2016, Alissa has been bringing her warm smile and expertise to our Miramichi clinic as a bilingual audiologist. 🎧💬

With a bachelor’s degree in Récréologie from Université de Moncton and a master’s in Health Science (Audiology) from the University of Ottawa, Alissa loves helping people hear—and feel—their very best.

She’s also a familiar face in the community, actively involved in local committees and associations. Her passion for helping others shines through in every appointment.
