Which one is your brain’s favorite lie?

1. “Let me just do a bit more research first.”
2. “Something’s off but I can’t explain it.”
3. “I don’t have a reason to say no, but I want to.”
4. “I’ll start Monday.”
5. “Everyone else seems fine with it. Maybe it’s just me.”

Drop your number 👇
(Most people are a combination of 2.)

Plot twist: not all of these are lies. Some are your Inner Bodyguard keeping you stuck. Some are your Navigator actually protecting your alignment.

Want to know which is which? This week’s podcast episode breaks down the full framework. Link in comments.

Your instinct has saved your life.

It slammed the brakes before you saw the kid.
It pulled you out of the party when something felt wrong.
It woke you at 3am when the house was too quiet.

It’s extraordinary. It’s not the enemy.

But somewhere along the way, it got promoted.

From door security to board member. From keeping you alive to running your business strategy. And now every growth decision — the bold pricing, the vulnerable post, the partnership that would stretch you — gets vetoed by a system that was built for bear attacks, not business.

Your Inner Bodyguard belongs at the door. Not at the strategy table.

This week’s episode unpacks the science behind both signals and the 3 questions that tell you which voice is which — in about 30 seconds.

I spent years making "smart" decisions that didn't feel right.

The kind where the spreadsheet looks perfect, the logic checks out, everyone's nodding — and something in your body is quietly screaming.

I'd override it every time. Because I'd been taught that feelings aren't strategy. That data beats instinct. That the smart move is the one you can defend in a meeting.

Until I realized: the voice I was calling "smart" wasn't my wisdom. It was my Inner Bodyguard. Running old programs. Keeping me in lanes that felt safe but were actually just… familiar.

That's not resilience. That's resignation with better branding.

The moment you learn the difference — the decisions that have been taking you months start taking minutes. The opportunities you've been talking yourself out of stop passing you by. And that constant second-guessing? It goes quiet.

If you've been overriding the quiet voice to follow the loud one — that pattern has a name. And it's worth decoding.

That's what a Clarity Call is for. Thirty minutes. We find the pattern. We name it. You walk away knowing exactly what's been running the show.

My brain almost talked me into the wrong partnership.

Great on paper. Good money. Strong alignment… on the surface.

My body said no. My brain said "don't be emotional about this."

So I ran myself through the same 3 questions I teach my clients.

Took about 30 seconds.

Answer was clear. I said no.

Here are the 3 questions (save this):

1. Is this contracting me or expanding me? Fear tightens. Constricts your chest. Narrows options. Intuition may be uncomfortable — but it opens something. Even when it's saying "no," there's spaciousness.

2. Is this about the past or the future? Your survival system is a historian: "Remember last time?" Intuition is a navigator. It's pulling toward something your past can't predict.

3. Does this feel like ducking or standing taller? If a decision brings relief — check in. That might be avoidance dressed as wisdom. If it straightens your spine? That's resonance.
Try it on the next decision sitting in your lap. Then tell me which question hit hardest 👇

Someone you love tells you they want to quit.

Your kid. Your partner. Your best hire. Doesn’t matter who — the reaction is the same.

Every fiber in you fires: “No. They’ll regret it. They need this.”

But underneath that reaction — way underneath — there’s a quieter voice.

“They’re telling you something. Listen.”

You don’t listen. You give the motivational speech. You push through. You manage them back into the thing your gut is telling you to let go.

Six months later? They’re checked out. And there’s a wall between you that wasn’t there before.

That first voice wasn’t wisdom. That was your survival brain running a “good parent” / “good leader” / “good partner” program from someone else’s blueprint — not what the moment actually needed.

This happens everywhere. Parenting. Business. Relationships. Career pivots. The moments where you KNOW something but override it because the logic looks right.

This week’s episode is about learning to hear the difference.

“Within an hour of my session, I was approached for a new role.” — Angela Holden

Read that again.

Not within a month. Not after a 90-day action plan. Within an hour.

Angela didn’t become more qualified in 60 minutes. Didn’t update her resume. Didn’t network harder.

What changed was the pattern running underneath everything else.

Her Inner Bodyguard had been running a very convincing program: “You’re not ready.” “Wait until you have more experience.” “Don’t put yourself out there yet.”

It didn’t sound like fear. It sounded like common sense.

Her Navigator had been trying to get through for months. The moment she cleared what was blocking the signal? The opportunity didn’t need to be chased. It walked right up to her.

That’s what shifts when you stop listening to the voice keeping your fear and start hearing your intuition.

If your Inner Bodyguard has been writing your career plan — and you’re starting to suspect it’s been lying to you — let’s find the pattern.

One conversation is all it takes. Link in comments 👇

Three minutes late to a meeting.
Heart racing. Palms clammy. And your brain screams: “He’s going to kill me!”

He’s not. But your body doesn’t know that.

Your nervous system is running 200,000-year-old software. Your boss’s disapproval triggers the same cortisol spike as a predator encounter.
Same chest tightening.
Same survival cascade.

That’s instinct.

It kept your ancestors alive. It’s also the voice telling you not to post that thing, not to raise your price, not to say what you actually think in the meeting.

But there’s another signal.
Quieter. Steadier. The one that shows up when everything looks perfect on paper and something in you goes… “no.”

That’s intuition.

Confusing them is the most expensive mistake you’re making right now.

This week’s episode: the actual science behind both signals + 3 questions that tell you instantly which voice is talking.

It’s Sunday night and you’re already dreading Monday.

Not because you hate your work. But because you can’t figure out why it still feels like pushing a boulder uphill after all these years.

You’ve done everything right.
The credentials. The hours. The exceeded expectations.
You’re not lazy. You’re not confused.

And yet — some things aren’t moving. Not even an inch.

I know this feeling intimately. I was a branch manager of a multi-million dollar firm by 30. Every external marker said “you made it.”

My body said something different. Fibromyalgia. Chronic fatigue. A full revolt I couldn’t push through.

And honestly? I thought the answer was to try harder. More strategy. More hustle. More gratitude.

Same results. Every time.

Because here’s what nobody tells high achievers:

You can’t outwork a subconscious pattern.

The ceiling you keep hitting — in your career, your relationships, your energy — isn’t made of circumstances. It’s made of a blueprint you absorbed before you were old enough to question it.

What you’re “allowed” to want.
What you have to sacrifice to get it.
Who you need to become to deserve it.

If more effort was going to work, it would have worked by now.

You already know this.

I wrote about all of it — including where to find the exact moment your pattern was installed.

Quick question for you.

When your gut talks to you, where do you actually feel it?

A) Chest — butterflies, tightness, that flutter

B) Stomach — that twist, the drop, the knowing

Drop A, B, or tell me yours if it's somewhere else 👇

(There's actually a reason I'm asking — Patti Stewart dropped some wisdom this week about what the location might mean. More on that in the episode...)

"I was winning all the awards. But I went home and felt like crap."

Patti Stewart said this on the podcast this week, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

She was at the top. Recognized. Celebrated. Doing all the things that were supposed to make her feel successful.

And something felt wrong every single time.

When she finally listened to what that feeling was trying to tell her, she realized: the company she was winning for didn't have integrity. Which meant while she was winning awards for them... she wasn't operating with integrity either.

So she walked away. As a single mom. From the job that was paying all her bills.

The job she took instead? Barely any money. But she went home every night feeling like a million dollars.

And that energy — that alignment — is what gave her the fuel to finally build something real.

That's prosperity without compromise.

Not making money at any cost. Making money that doesn't cost you your soul.

The promotion went to someone with half your experience.

The relationship failed even though you gave everything.

The energy crash happened despite “doing all the right things.”

Different room.
Same ceiling.

You keep telling yourself a story about why it didn’t work out — and the story always makes sense.

It’s not the economy.
It’s not the industry.
It’s not the timing.
It’s not the other person.

It’s a pattern you can’t see because you’re standing inside it.

Like trying to read a label from inside the jar.

Once you see it? Everything shifts. Not because you work harder — but because you’re finally working on the right thing.

Your patterns aren’t random. They’re a map showing you exactly where your power has been hidden.

New article breaks it all down — including a pattern audit you can do right now.

This quote from this week's guest hasn't left my head.

"I was winning all the awards. But I went home and felt like crap."
— Patti Stewart

Patti survived over a decade in an abusive relationship by learning to trust the instincts she'd been taught to silence.

Now she teaches thousands of women to trust themselves — not just physically, but in every area of life.

That quote though — "winning but empty" — I think about how many leaders are living that exact pattern right now.

Succeeding by every external measure. Hollow on the inside.

If that's you — there's nothing wrong with you. There's something right with you that's trying to get your attention.
