Keep in mind no one is exactly like another. There is not such thing as NORMAL. Its important to remember that we all have skills, strengths, qualities, talents and resources that have enabled you to survive and thrive this far. Take some time and list out these qualities, strengths and talents and focus on them instead of our faults.

Hope is learned. To learn hopefulness we need relationships that are characterized by boundaries, consistency and support. When we are given opportunities to struggle, we learn that we can believe in ourselves and our abilities.

Monday's feeling word or experience is Hope. Hope is something we need like air. To live without hope is to risk suffocating on hopelessness and despair or crushed by the belief that there is no way out of what is holding us back. Hope is a cognitive (thinking) process which emotions play a role.

Hope is a function of struggle.
