Originally from Grand Falls, NB, Joelle studied Psychology and Biology at Mount Allison University before completing her Master’s in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2025. She has completed the OrthoCanada KTaping certification in 2024 and looks forward to further developing her portfolio as she begins her career as a physiotherapist. New to Max, Joelle looks forward to working with clients at achieving their goals and becoming their best self!

Outside of work, Joelle enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her cat Betty.

Massage can be offered for a wide range of medical conditions. Massage can reduce pain, hypertonicity, soreness, it can improve circulation, and energy. It also may help reduce stress, lowering heart rate and blood pressure. Massage therapy may also play a role in improving immune function.

Some specific conditions massage has had positive effects on are:
