Self-care and growth. As my Ph.D programme started this week, it has provided a reminder of the importance of self-care and growth. Notice if you ignore a plant it doesn't thrive? Same philosophy applies to humans. If you neglect to tend to your needs, take care of yourself, growth becomes stagnant.

On this beautiful Sunday a.m, after a nice long yoga practice and walk with Walter, I find myself pausing to enjoy tea, listen to the birds and engage in my coursework. It's about finding what practices of self care work for you personally.
