🔹A limited number of time slots are reserved for “true” walk-in appointments every clinic; if you would like to gauge availability and approximate wait times before heading out please call ☎️902-361-5555☎️ during clinic hours. Registration for “true” walk-in appointments will start when the clinic begins.

🔹A valid provincial health card IS required to register for an in-person or online Skip appointment.

🔹Doctors can only address 1 health concern per appointment.

🔹Doctors are scheduling these walk-in clinics before/after working ER shifts, at their family practice, or on their days off. To respect the doctor’s time and ensure clinics are finished on schedule, a specific number of appointments are scheduled each clinic (both Skip The Waiting Room and “true” walk-in appointments).
☝🏼Showing up during clinic hours does NOT guarantee you will be seen.

🔹 This is a full service clinic for non-emergencies. If you feel your medical needs are urgent, please call 911 or head directly to your closest emergency department.

🔹 Narcotic or controlled substance prescriptions are not available at McKenna’s HealthCentre.

🔹McKenna’s HealthCentre Walk-In Clinic is located at 50 Queens Road, Montague (inside of McKenna’s PharmaChoice).

Happy New Year from McKenna's PharmaChoice! 🥳

Wishing everyone a wonderful 2026!! If streamlining your medications, quitting smoking, or other improvements to your health are on your list for this new year be sure to stop in and chat with our knowledgeable pharmacy team!

2025 has been a bittersweet year; we were able to finish our renovation, open McKenna's HealthCentre, and launch our doctor-led Walk-In Clinics. We grew our team significantly this year. And we grew as a team, leaning on and supporting each other during particularly hard times.

We finish 2025 in bittersweet fashion too, as we say “Good Luck!” to Ellen. Ellen, who has overseen our front store for the last 3 years, has accepted a wonderful opportunity with HealthPEl that is even better suited to her knowledge and interests. While we are extremely happy for Ellen her dedication, friendliness, and humour will be very missed! Good news though; Ellen will remain a part of the team as she has graciously offered to continue overseeing some evening Walk-In Clinics 🙌🏾

Please join us in wishing Ellen all the best in her new adventure!!

In 2025 we were able to accomplish two big goals: open a walk-in clinic and create a local section, all while employing wonderful people!

We couldn’t do these things without all the support we recieve - we are so grateful for every like, share, visit, purchase, and recommendation!
