People often ask us, “𝐻𝑜𝑤 𝑑𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑑𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑑𝑎𝑦?” The answer is simple: it’s not just a job—it’s a calling.

As funeral professionals—whether in administration, as funeral directors, assistants, support staff, or behind the scenes—we all share one purpose: to serve families with care, dignity, and compassion.

This work is more than tasks and timelines. It’s a commitment to guide people through some of the hardest days of their lives.

Whether it’s preparing a space, answering a call, arranging details, or simply being present—we each play a role in helping families say goodbye with meaning and grace.

We do this because we believe in the importance of honouring life.

Because every person matters, and every farewell deserves to be handled with respect and heart.

We’re proud to serve this community—not just in moments of loss, but with steady support, quiet strength, and genuine compassion.

Welcome back Nat. We are pleased to hear of your healthy return to work.

Welcome back Nat. We are pleased to hear of your healthy return to work.

To my Community: A Message of Gratitude

After several weeks away, I’m grateful to share that I have now returned home to Souris.

This time away was essential, not only for my health, but also for my ability to continue serving this community in the way it deserves. I want to express my deepest thanks for the kindness, patience, and understanding so many of you showed during this pause. Your support allowed me the time and space to step back, fully disconnect, reflect, and do the work needed to heal and recover.

I’ve always known this community was special. Over the past several weeks, I’ve felt that truth more deeply than ever before.

Dingwell Funeral Home has now resumed operations and is available to support families with the care, compassion, and commitment you’ve come to expect. I return with renewed energy, a clearer mind, and a heart full of gratitude for the privilege of doing this work.

Thank you for holding space and for holding faith while I took the time to restore the energy this work requires. I’m truly honoured to continue walking alongside you in life’s most meaningful moments.

Warmly,

Nat Lamoureux
